The Building Permit Report lets you search, view, and export issued and finaled building permits for the City of Anaheim. Use the filter panel on the left to narrow results, and the table to review or download them.
Controls which date milestone is used for filtering:

| Issued | Returns permits whose issue date falls within the selected date range. |
| Finaled | Returns permits whose final date falls within the selected date range. |
Sets the start and end of the date range to query. Both dates are required.
Click Apply Changes to update the table with your current filter selections. The button becomes active whenever you change a filter that has not yet been applied, and is disabled automatically after applying or when the dates are invalid.
Click the reset icon (↺) in the Filters block header to restore all filters to their defaults:
The reset icon is only active when filters differ from the defaults.
The Results block displays the number of permits matching the current filter. The count updates each time you apply changes.
The table lists all permits matching the current filter. Columns can be sorted by clicking their headers. The table includes the following fields:

| Permit Number | Unique permit case number. |
| Permit Status | Current status of the permit. |
| Address | Property address associated with the permit. |
| Description | Brief description of the permitted work. |
| Application Received | Date the permit application was submitted. |
| Permit Issued | Date the permit was issued. |
| Permit Finaled | Date the permit received final approval. |
| Parcel Number | Assessor's parcel number (APN). |
| Census Code | Census classification code for the permit type. |
| Commercial / Residential | Indicates whether the permit is commercial or residential. |
| Job Valuation | Estimated value of the permitted work. |
| Owner / Builder | Indicates whether the owner is acting as the contractor. |
| Plan Check | Whether a plan was required for this permit. |
| Type of Work | Category of work being performed. |
| Contractors Name | Name of the licensed contractor. |
| Contractors Phone | Contact phone number for the contractor. |
Click Export to CSV to download the current results as a comma-separated values file. The exported file will be named to reflect the permit type and today's date, for example:
BuildingPermits_Issued_2026-03-03.csv
The export includes all records currently shown in the table.
